New Book Claims Many Cheat at On Line Casinos

October 9th, 2007 · No Comments

The author of a new book claims that on line casinos are rife with cheaters. These casinos, he says, are a dream comes true for those who wish to beat the system, particularly in poker.

Richard Marcus is an experienced casino cheat who, during 25 years in the business, reportedly won $5 million. He has been banned from casinos in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, London, and Monte Carlo, among other places.

Marcus is now retired, and spends his time analyzing gamblers who cheat, particularly in on line casinos. His book Dirty Poker will be published in the UK next year. He expects the book to cause uproar in the casino industry.

Marcus said that he is aware of several groups of players who are involved in illicit gambling at on line casinos. These groups, he said, have so far gone completely undetected even though they are winning large amounts of money.

Cheaters use a variety of systems to cheat the on line casinos, including having a computer play against the online system.

It is difficult for on line casinos to prosecute the cheaters in the United States, since the on line casino industry occupies a grey area in terms of legality. Their best hope, according to the head of one of the world’s largest on line casinos, is to try to stay one step ahead of the cheaters in terms of technology.
