A recent poll conducted by Harris Interactive measured the attitudes of American and British adults towards on line gambling, as well as their playing experiences. The survey also revealed many differences among Americans regarding their attitudes towards on line gambling. Significantly more Americans in their 20s, 30s, and 40s believe that on line gambling can be effectively regulated, and should perhaps be made legal, than their older counterparts. Of Americans who are 65 years old or older, more than three- quarters somewhat or strongly believe that on line casinos should remain illegal.
